**Molly went to her new home in Cambridge, on Friday where she will get lots of attention from her new family and the feline will grow to like her! She is looking forward to all the walks! (February 2018)**
Molly is an adorable 7-8 year old Beagle mix, approximately 55pounds. We received Molly from a Mississauga rescue who saved her before being euthanized. She was hairless due to allergies and the rescue found out she can eat lamb based foods. Now Molly has nice hair growth.
Molly is a typical beagle focused on food, food, food. Molly is a little hard of hearing with some arthritis but that doesn't slow her down. She listens extremely well to direction. Molly can be silly and will sit, lay down and shake a paw on command. If she gets food she will do this all day.
Molly is very affectionate and loves to be pet. She gets along with my two small dogs. My older third dog is still working on getting along with Molly. My oldest dog does this with every foster I bring in.
Molly has good bladder control. I always expect my fosters to make a mistake in the house at the beginning due to stress/ change of environment. First foster that has not made any mistakes and lets us know when she needs to go out. When she is ready to come in Molly goes to the back door and lets out one to two barks to let us know she's ready to come in.
Molly walks well. She will pull at the beginning and will take direction when corrected. She loves to smell the neighborhood on her walks.
Molly would do well with a retired person or a family with older children. I would recommend that if other dogs that they are passive and would accept Molly as the alpha dog. I do not know if she has been around cats.

If you're looking for an affectionate dog who takes direction well then Molly is a good choice
