**Poppy was lucky enough to be adopted by her foster family! (June 2016)**

Poppy is a pretty black stray who had been outside for several weeks. She had become so friendly and desperately wanted to come indoors. On Remembrance Day she decided it was time to move in. Poppy's past is unclear. She has been ear-tipped which means that at some point she was trapped, spayed and then released back into a colony of cats of some sort. She is definitely not feral and craves the comfort and love of people. Sadly, Poppy has tested positive for the FIV virus. Her current state of health is very good and FIV cats often lead long healthy lives despite this diagnosis. She is a wonderful companion who has been through so much. It is time for her to have a forever home.
