Islay is a great cat! He came to our home abandoned as an 8 month old kitten a year ago. He was already litter trained and scratching post trained. He is impeccably clean and is a lovely and super cuddly young male cat with a gentle nature.
He absolutely loves to snuggle, he purrs loudly and he also has a playful side enjoying chasing toy mice and wand toys.
He ticks every box to be the perfect cat, except he is very afraid of other cats and dogs. He is very social and friendly with people. Due to the fact that he is VERY scared of cats and dogs he MUST be the only pet in a household and be a strictly indoor cat only.
Islay is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed Rescue. The adoption donation is $325 per cat. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application.
