Rory

Rory (previously Chalka in our program) is now 5 years old (born March 2013). She is very playful, she loves to fetch but also plays very well by herself. She is very gentle with her toys and doesn’t rip or ruin them. She gets along with 2 cats. She is very gentle with them, and doesn’t chase. She settles down easily while we get ready in the morning for work and also when we want to sit and read or watch television. She loves going for walks.

Rory is leash reactive with other dogs and when frustrated may redirect. She is fine with some dogs off leash and is in training to help her improve her leash frustration. For this reason, Rory should go to a home with experienced dog owners or owners willing to work with a trainer on this matter. She would do best in a home with kids 12 plus. Rory is available for adoption together through Grand River All Breed rescue. The adoption donation is $400. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out an application.
